The West Cork Parents Action Group is delighted to have secured such a highly acclaimed speaker as Dr. Vincent Maloney.

Prof. Vincent Maloney is a Medical Doctor who has specialised in psychatric Medicine. He is recognised internationally in child and adolescent development and has acted as a Consultant on adolescence. He has a special interest in young people and has lectured at local, national and international levels on the subject.

He has appeared on RTE on “Family Matters” and on the radio series “Mind of a child”. He is co-author of the book “Parents under Pressure”.

He is founder and formulator of the Development Mediation programme for children 0-3 years, which can apply to children of normal development and to children with special needs.

He is an extremely knowledgeable man on the subject of Special Needs and a most intriguing and humorous speaker.
